Welcome
With all my heart I welcome you
to this site.
- 3 John 1:8 We therefore ought to
welcome such, that we may be
fellow-workers for the truth.
What does welcome
mean?
- Well (satisfactorily,
good, favorable, properly, successfully)
- +
- Kominn (to come)
Welcomes from the
Bible:
The welcome when
Jesus was born.
- Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto
them (the shepherds), Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good
tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
- 11 For unto you is born this day
in the city of David a Saviour, which
is Christ the Lord.
- 13 And suddenly there was with
the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and
saying,
- 14 Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men.
A welcome in heaven when Jesus was resurrected
- Luke 8:40 And as Jesus returned,
the multitude welcomed him; for
- they were all waiting for him. (This
quote is not refering to the time Jesus was welcomed in Heaven,
but we can reason from the hearty welcome that His early
followers, who understood the message and mission of Jesus only
faintly, gave Him, to the tremendous celebration and exchamge of
love that must have been given by His father and all the Heavenly
hosts to the successful savior of the universe and all that is in
it.)
A welcome in heaven when the Saints were resurrected,
- Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb
which is in the midst of the throne shall feed
them, and shall lead them unto living
fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes.
-
- Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it
were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many
waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia:
for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
- 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and
give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and
his wife hath made herself
ready.
A welcome in heaven when the bride's maids were
resurrected
- Revelation 19:6 And I heard as it
were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many
waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia:
for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
- 7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and
give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his
wife hath made herself ready.
- 9 And he saith unto me, Write,
Blessed are they which are called unto the
marriage supper of the Lamb.
A welcome on earth when Israel is restored.
- Jeremiah 31:10 Hear the word of
the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and
say, He that scattered Israel will
gather him, and keep
him, as a shepherd doth his
flock.
- 11 For the LORD hath redeemed
Jacob, and ransomed
Jacob from the hand of him that was
stronger than Jacob.
- 12 Therefore
Israel shall come and sing in the
height of Zion, and shall flow
together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and
for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their
soul shall be as a watered garden; and
they shall not sorrow any more at
all.
When Jesus was here on earth
- Luke 9:11 But the multitudes
perceiving it, followed Jesus: and
Jesus
- welcomed the multitudes, and
spake to them of the kingdom of God, and them
- that had need of healing he cured.
His ambasadors of peace and life
- Is 65:17 Behold, I create new
heavens and a new earth: and the former things shall not be
remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye
(All those wuo hunger and thirst for His
Kingdom) glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create;
for, behold, I create Jerusalem a
rejoicing, and her people a
joy. And I will
rejoice in Jerusalem, and
joy in my people; and there shall be
heard in her no more the Voice of weeping and the Voice of
crying.
